Whitespace, Mattermost, Arqit and archTIS have announced a new collaborative initiative to deliver an interoperable operational AI and mission workflow environment for defence and coalition operations.
The joint capability, which will make its public debut at Eurosatory 2026 from 15–19 June, has been designed to demonstrate how sovereign, interoperable and operationally deployable technologies can work together across connected, disconnected and coalition environments to support modern military operations.
The collaboration brings together operational intelligence, mission workflows, secure collaboration, operational learning, policy-driven information protection and post-quantum security into a unified operational environment designed to reduce friction between systems, accelerate mission execution and improve operational adaptability at mission speed.
At the centre of the environment is Whitespace’s operational intelligence and mission workflow capability, supporting the full Sense, Decide, Act and Analyse cycle through targeting workflows, AI-assisted mission coordination and Operational Learning capabilities that help teams capture and apply insight directly from live operational activity.
Mattermost provides secure operational collaboration capabilities that support communication, workflow coordination and operator interaction across connected, disconnected, degraded and intermittent environments.
archTIS provides Zero Trust, data-centric policy enforcement through real-time Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), dynamically enforcing classification, releasability and information-sharing policies across coalition and multi-domain environments.
Arqit provides post-quantum-secure device authentication and cryptographic trust capabilities, helping ensure only verified devices and trusted users can access protected operational environments.
Together, the collaboration reflects a growing requirement across defence for interoperable operational ecosystems capable of integrating specialist technologies, supporting coalition operations and enabling operators to work more effectively across cloud, edge and air-gapped environments without dependence on a single infrastructure or technology provider.
The integrated capability will be jointly showcased on the Microsoft stand (Hall 4, G286) at Eurosatory, where the partners will demonstrate how operational workflows, secure collaboration, AI-enabled mission support and sovereign deployment models can extend secure digital capability from HQ to the tactical edge.
Further announcements regarding demonstrations, ecosystem expansion and partnership activity to follow over the coming weeks.
