Thought Leadership
The session which took place on day 4 of DSEI 23 identifies strategies and solutions that will enable the UK Defence sector to take full advantage of rapid prototyping that enables teams to create new innovative possibilities and opportunities.
Our guest panel featured the following contributors:
Paul Jenkinson, Whitespace CEO
Elina Lam-Gall, Director of Learning & Workforce Transformation at Public IO
James Gavin, Head of the Future Capability Group, Defence Equipment & Support at DE&S
Andrew Kinniburgh, Director-General at Make UK Defence
This panel discussion should make for an interesting listen. Rapid capability development to quickly test against operational requirements or conceptual thinking can be a very powerful tool in the innovation toolbox and also enables a "fail fast" approach whilst empowering agility in creating a user-led design process. With the expertise on the panel (including Whitespace's very own CEO) it should prove to be an interesting panel and will, I am sure, cover process, people, design, culture, ecosystem and technology.Andrew Webber, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer

Thought Leadership
If you're not willing to change your processes, then you're probably not innovating
There are those who think because they have a policy, it’s job done. No need to have a difficult conversation or review processes. The potential for change has been readied for the moment it happens.
