We’re looking for a talented and empathetic User Researcher to join our growing experience design team.
We’re a team of researchers, engineers and technologists (along with a few former CTOs), who design, develop and build new ideas, products and ventures.
We help businesses innovate, from the small things that can make a big difference to more-involved 'Eureka!' projects. We work with global clients to develop products, markets and ventures that will change things for the better. So when the future rolls around, they’re ready.
Each of our designers, engineers, researchers, founders and technologists brings their own expertise. Together, we use our skills to solve existing problems and find new answers. And then we build the tech. It’s a more sustainable way of working.
As a user researcher, you will be joining our experience design team working closely with our head of UX, innovation and product teams, on both client innovation and internal projects.
You will lead research efforts across our company, managing, mentoring and growing a team of user researchers, collaborating with stakeholders to identify the need for, facilitate and conduct research in partnership with designers and innovation practitioners.
You will conduct a wide variety of research from discovery to usability testing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing experience design team in a company which recognises the value of design.
At Whitespace, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across many verticals for some of the world’s largest companies. From collaborating with early-stage startups, helping global companies solve problems through partnerships, helping the UK government make smarter decisions, or creating world-first product innovations, you will work across the full spectrum of research from discovery to solution.
This role is for a dedicated user researcher or designer with a proven track record of conducting research and who is looking for a more hands-on research role.
